Hello all and welcome to our fishing trip to the Lake of the Ozarks! Following is an outline for the week. It is pretty simple!
Arrival Sunday, April 27th: Address is 1359 Seascape Lane, Osage Beach, Mo, 65065. Arrival no later than 16:00. You can purchase a fishing license ahead of time on the MO Fishing App through your phone. You will be reimbursed for the license. You must have a fishing license for every day that you plan on fishing. Veterans that have a disability rating at 60% or higher just must bring the award letter stating the rating and will not need to purchase a license.
Monday, April 28th - Thursday May 1st: Fishing days. These are your days! If you decide to skip a fishing session and sit on the dock or explore, you are more than welcome.
Friday, May 2nd: Breakfast then depart by 11:00 for home.
There are some rules that are set by our volunteers that we need to respect. They are providing boats and their rules are set in stone. There is no alcohol or tobacco allowed while on the boats. These are expensive and we do not want to cause any damage to their boats. Anyone that is reported, by the owners, will be asked to leave. Please respect their wishes. Your condo also has been graciously donated and we ask that you treat it as your own home.
What to bring: Weather is unpredictable this time of year. It could be in the 80’s or could snow. So, bring rain gear and sweatshirts. There are some beds and IVOE will have a couple of cots and sleeping bags available as well. Towels and linen are provided by the condo owner.
If you have any questions, please shoot us an e-mail and we can help. Looking forward to a great trip to the Ozarks! A fully refundable deposit of $150.00 is due with the application. Once you arrive your check will be returned to you.
